Die "Reversing Falls" sind Stromschnellen des Saint John River,

 Low tide                    Slack tide                    High tide

Wo der Fluss durch eine schmale Flussenge / Schlucht führt,

bevor er in die "Bay of Fundy" mündet.

Aufgrund von Ebbe und Flut mit einem Tidenhub von bis zu 16m,

sieht man die Stromschnellen entweder in die eine Richtung oder in die andere.
